Nancy Hatch Dupree, the founder of the Afghanistan Centre at Kabul University (ACKU), has created an archive that has more than 45,000 documents she began collecting in the 1970’s, with her late husband, Louis.
We spent a week documenting some of the programs Nancy and her ACKU team undertake to educate their fellow Afghan citizens. On this day we traveled to Kapisa Province to install a school library. Watch the video above to see the extraordinary people on the front lines on the war promoting literacy and education in Afghanistan.
