New York City Street Kids: Yuri

When Yuri Peresnyakov turned 21 on March 1, he gave himself an unusual birthday present. He called his parents in Yekaterinburg, Russia, to tell them he was gay. The next night with no place to go, he landed at Sylvia’s Place, a homeless shelter for gay youth.
